Listen to Whitney Houston on iHeartRadio
On February 9th, one night before the Grammys, CBS will air an hour-long documentary on the shocking 2012 death of Whitney Houston and its impact on the awards show.
The Grammys Will Go On: A Death in the Family will show how the Recording Academy reshaped its signature program inside of 24 hours. The special will feature interviews with Jennifer Hudson, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Joe Walsh, Clive Davis and LL Cool J. The use of rehearsal footage will take viewers behind the scenes as new segments, such as Paul McCartney's closing medley, were created.
Houston died in her hotel bathtub last February 9th. While it was ruled accidental, the coroner found heart disease and cocaine use were contributing factors.
