A new UK study has determined the age when we get the worst hangovers. And that age is 29.
Researchers found that people nearing their 30th birthday may think they can party like they did in their youth, but they just don’t recover as well. In fact, it can take them 10 hours and 24 minutes to feel normal again after a night of heavy drinking – almost an hour longer than the average recovery time of nine hours and 45 minutes.
Want to know when you will feel the most pain? The study found your hangover misery will be at its worst around 9:45 a.m. the morning after.
