Radio Wizard's Six Pix From His Weekend.

If everyone is piling in 6 Pics, then I am piling in too. It sounds like this is what we do now!

I went to Galveston to hang out for the weekend. Although it was cloudy, it was warm and windy making for some whipping surf at the beach. It feels like summer is right around the corner!

Angie, the Wizardette, and I opted for a roof top bar with some Expresso Martinis rather than hitting the beach.

Walking around, I saw a cool shark display made of junk that had been cleaned out of the ocean. I demonstrated to Angie what not to do with real sharks when we go Scuba diving. She told me: "I don't need to swim the shark out; I just need to outswim you." She could easily out-swim me.

Angie and I stayed at this cool hotel that had a really cool swanky 60's vibe, The Hotel Lucine, which was right across the road facing the beach.

On our walk at the beach, I had to check out a sailboat that had ended up wrecked in the surf. Cool, but I prefer my shipwrecks much deeper.

Heading out of town on Sunday there was a cemetery that was alive with wildflowers covering the whole area. I think it was a really cool idea to have the flowers all through.
