CRIMINALS: A Person Pretending to Be Aaron Rodgers Conned a Gullible Woman!

A Person Pretending to Be Aaron Rodgers Conned a Gullible Woman in Ohio

Aaron Rodgers has been known to dabble in conspiracy theories. And apparently, some of his fans will also believe some wild stuff.

A woman in Ohio was robbed by a person claiming to be the actual "Aaron Rodgers" online. They met on a messaging app called Viber.

She and "Aaron" talked for a couple months. She was confident it was him because the profile picture had a photo of Aaron Rodgers wearing a Green Bay Packers hat . . .  and he, quote, "talked about himself personally." Whatever that entails.

She was so sure he was legit that she was gave him her driver's license information . . . Social Security Number . . . and bank account details.

If you're wondering why Aaron would need this random Ohio woman's bank accounts, he'd say things like, "I'll send you $10,000 to help you move out of your apartment, but first, you need to send $800 to my lawyer's wife."

The police are investigating, but it's unclear if they're making headway. In the meantime, they've told her to block "Aaron" on all social media . . . freeze all of her accounts . . . change her passwords . . . and monitor her credit.

It's unclear how much she lost in total.  (But she says she'll be okay . . . because Travis Kelce has offered to cover her losses! She just needs to Venmo his lawyer's wife $1,000 first.)

A Woman Tried to Get a Fraudulent Loan "Weekend at Bernie's" Style

Key mistake here: You've gotta put sunglasses on the guy.

A woman in Brazil is facing serious charges after she wheeled her very DEAD uncle into a bank . . . "Weekend at Bernie's" style . . . and tried to take out a $3,400 loan in his name.

A bank teller got it on video. The man was clearly no longer with us, but the niece kept talking to him like he was alive and tried to help him sign the paperwork. She had to hold his head up the entire time.

The teller said his skin tone looked off and that he was oddly quiet. But the woman claimed he's just like that and doesn't say much.

Employees called the cops, who showed up and arrested her. The man she brought in was identified as a 68-year-old who'd apparently died several hours earlier. It's not even clear if she's really his niece.

Police are still looking into it, but she could face charges for fraud, embezzlement, abuse of a corpse, or all of the above.
