Guest:Lidya Osadchey, CEO of ESCAPE Family Resource Center.
It is with a great deal of passion and wisdom that Lidya Osadchey approaches the problem of educating children and that means an in depth discussion of how to educate adults so that they may be good parents. Her Org, ESCAPE Family Resource Center, offers a complete curriculum that helps thousands each year. You can find out more while you listen by clicking here: www.learntoparent.org.
April is also national child abuse prevention month and ESCAPE is holding a fundraiser on Sunday, April 28th. The guest of honor for “Color My World" will be T. Boone Pickens and this will be the 32nd Annual Celebrity Serve Benefit. 25 television, radio and sports personalities will serve, entertain and mingle with guests.
My guests are three friends who went on a mission to Jamaica last year. They brought doctors, nurses and medicine and helped hundreds finally obtain the most basic medical care. They are going back in May. Listen to how compassion transforms into action when people are motivated and supportive of each other. Here is an example of how a few can help many.
On April 6th anyone can attend to help fund their trip or you can visit their Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/UnitedForHope
