For the second year in a row, Santa got his beard snagged while he was trying to repel down from the ceiling to greet a bunch of kids at a shopping mall.
This time, it happened at a mall near London, and he had to hang in mid-air for about 40 minutes until a soldier could repel down and cut the beard off. But in the meantime, the mall went ahead with the rest of their tree-lighting ceremony anyway.
The exact same thing actually happened just last year at a mall in Palm Beach, Florida. And Santa's beard came off that time too.
