What I Do, Fun-wise: The internet is my playground. (Thank you, Al Gore.) I spend a lot of time on it, blogging, reading news/gossip sites, chatting with people, what-have-you. I also make a lot of unnecessary trips to Target. Not sure if that counts as fun, but it seems to take up a lot of my time... And I foster dogs for a rescue organization (RED Collar Rescue).

Catch me if you can.— Wanda podgurski (@wanda_podgurski) June 6, 2013
The woman, Wanda Podgurski, is a former Amtrak employee who faked a disability and proceeded to get a metric buttload of cash from all sorts of places, like insurance companies and the government. She fled to Mexico after she was convicted of fraud in January.
Podgurski said that she slipped and fell at her home in 2006 and said she was so severely disabled that she needed an in-home caregiver.
But during a time when she was allegedly disabled, Podgurski traveled to the Dominican Republic, New York, Seattle, Boston, Fort Lauderdale and other destinations, prosecutors said. Among her trips was a 16-day tour to China in 2008 with a boyfriend, prosecutors said.
Podgurski collected payments from seven insurance companies and a government agency.
A 16-day tour of China?! Seriously? I usually keep my vacations to 4 days because $$. Jesus, lady. She was sentenced to 20 years in prison. (LA Times)
