What I Do, Fun-wise: The internet is my playground. (Thank you, Al Gore.) I spend a lot of time on it, blogging, reading news/gossip sites, chatting with people, what-have-you. I also make a lot of unnecessary trips to Target. Not sure if that counts as fun, but it seems to take up a lot of my time... And I foster dogs for a rescue organization (RED Collar Rescue).
My Motto: "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not." - Dr. Suess, 'The Lorax'
My Anti-Motto: It is what it is.
The First Star I Ever Had A Crush On: Michael Jackson or Boy George. Not sure which came first.
My "celebs to make out with" list: Keanu Reeves, Kal Penn, James McAvoy, Gale Harold, Jacoby Shaddix (sorry to Jacoby's wife!)

I mean, I really like Oasis (and I get made fun of for it, too), but British people love Oasis so much that the top 5 songs on the Greatest Britpop Anthem Of All Time list are Oasis songs. IMO, they got the first two mixed up. "Don't Look Back In Anger" is the more superior of those two songs. (NME)
1. Oasis - "Live Forever"
2. Oasis - "Don't Look Back In Anger"
3. Oasis - "Supersonic"
4. Oasis - "Cigarettes & Alcohol"
5. Oasis - "Wonderwall"
6. Pulp - "Common People"
7. Suede - "Animal Nitrate"
8. Blur - "Girls & Boys"
9. Suede - "Trash"
10. Blur - "The Universal"

So, this happened. A guy in Taiwan was pissed that his girlfriend was nagging him about hanging out at home and doing nothing other than getting day drunk, so he decided to get revenge by cutting off his own penis.
The argument abruptly ended after the man grabbed a pair of household scissors and went into the bathroom to snip off his sex organ.
Then, as the horrified girlfriend watched on, he flushed his severed member down the toilet.
The woman managed to get the critically injured man to the hospital just before he bled out.
Though doctors were unable to do much for the man besides stop the bleeding, they say he should have no problem urinating out of the three centimeters (1.1") that remained.
That's... not how revenge works. I'm not even sure how his penis got involved in the whole ordeal. (Gawker)
And I loved it! Star Trek Into Darkness was fantastic.
It was so good that I had to pose for an awkward photo with this thing on my way out of the theater.
The cast was amazing, and Benedict Cumberbun Cumberbatch is possibly the best villain ever. John Cho shines as Sulu. Really, he's a total badass when given the chance. And Zachary Quinto is HILARIOUS as Spock. And dammit, he almost made me cry at one point.
Some people in the screening I saw were a little miffed that JJ Abrams let the story veer away from canon, but that didn't bother me. I watched Next Generation and some of the original Star Trek enough as a kid to recognize cameo appearances and get some of the inside jokes, but not enough to know that OMG JJ ABRAMS CHANGED SOMETHING. So for me, it worked.
Seriously, go see it. It's got palm sweating, anxiety ridden moments... laughs... sentimentality... Such a good movie.
Let's all just take a moment and appreciate all of the hard work that Chris Evans put into those bad boys. Thank you, Chris. Thank you.

I owned one single Abercrombie shirt left over from college, and it went into a donation bin over the weekend. Success!
License plates designed to hide. That seems like a bad idea. Pink is coming soon, too. (MyPlates)
