"I know that you will always remember him as a giant of a man on stage with a heart for every one of you. He was taken to the eme[r]gency room and at 3 am today his heart just suddenly stopped. He left this world with me singing songs he liked in his ear. He fought the good fight. You stood by him sending love daily. He knew that he was very loved and never alone."

According to police reports, brother and sister, 22-year-old Manuel Ortiz and 19-year-old Savannah Ramirez returned to the home they shared in Phoenix, Arizona, after a night of drinking on New Year’s Eve.
The brother and sister, along with two others, decided to pose for Facebook photos...with a loaded handgun. As Ramirez played with the gun, it reportedly went off, striking Ortiz in the head and killing him instantly around 6am.
